Job: Estimator

Minimum 5 years of estimating experience for a general contractor, 10 years preferable.  Tenure with a reputable contractor

Responsibilities/experience required:

• Ability to completely lead the estimating process being able to perform quantity surveys
• Subcontractor pre-qualification
• Cost database updates and management
• Complete understanding of bid documents
• Bid captain responsibilities such as selecting vendors on bid day, construction estimating decision making, analysis of scopes, etc.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
• Public and private project experience ranging from 2 million to 30 million plus.
• Experience will need to cover a range of project types including: Commercial, Educational, Financial, Healthcare, Industrial, Religious, Retail, and Design/Build.
• College degree required, preferably in construction management, civil engineering or similar.
