Job: Project Manager

I am currently seeking Project Managers who possess the following qualifications for a Louisiana based commercial general contractor who’s primary market focus is health care, hospitality, educational, industrial, office and tenant improvement.

• A good construction foundation with a successful track record.
• Core competencies relative to negotiating, planning, team building, coaching, finance, leadership, risk management, business development, communications and project controls.
• Ability to understand and administer company philosophy.
• Technical abilities to: understanding and proper administration of the prime contract and subcontracts, understanding of building systems and components to provide comprehensive coordination between them, derive and execute a strategy for successfully completing the project on time and on budget, maintain a positive financial position, continually monitor and devise ways to overcome potential schedule impediments, develop comprehensive work scopes, identify and accurately estimate changes and their impact to the schedule, accurately document events, meetings, action list and project related occurrences, review technical submittals and manage project engineers.
• Maintain a respected and professional relationship with owners, designers and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum four year degree in construction management, engineering or architecture, five plus years successful work experience with extensive background in project engineering and is versed Primavera Project control software such as expedition / contract manager and P3/P6,0ST, excel and word.
